Hen dumped ducklings after 10 days

We have a pair of flying mallards that went broody. Daisy hatched out 10 ducklings and for 10 days she was the model mother. then on the 11 day she left them and was not interested in the least. I know this is not normal but is there something that might have caused this?

It just happens sometimes, has the drake been messing with her, I notice when my hens have chicks if the rooster start mating them early in chick raising they are more apt to give up chicks early, and goes the same for drakes. I have a duck sitting right now and plan on fencing off an area just for her and ducklings when they hatch so everyone can see each other but mom has plenty of just duckling time with out hassles,. and sometimes they just quit for no known reason. How are the ducklings doing have you been brooding them for her. and
