Hen eating feathers

Maybe. Maybe not. The others might bite back, and she knows the new one won't. And didn't you say you had removed that one because she was molting? Fresh feathers might be tastier than old dropped ones. Regardless, you're undercutting their protein right now by cutting layer with corn, you'll see improved laying if you feed more protein.
I’m going today to get a bag of higher protein feed. Thank you for all the information!

There’s only 8 birds in there. It’s hard describe the size of it, so saying large shed is about all I can come up with. It really is more than big enough for 8 birds.
Doesn't every household have a tape measure?....maybe not, I have like 8 of them :gig

Agrees that the issue is likely a combo of nutrition and/or space and/or integration.
Knowing the protein percentages of each feed you've mixed would help.
I give 1 part 8%(scratch) and 5 parts 20%(flock raiser) daily(not mixed).
8 + 100 / 6 = 18%

Higher protein feed might help....or you could just give some animal protein like mealworms or canned fish. Feather, and egg, eating indicates they may not just need more protein but animal protein...chicken are omnivores after all.
