Will take any help I can get! My two Rhode Island reds, Henrietta and Mildred, were victims of over breeding from my broad rock rooster. He was not a very nice rooster and was hurting my girls so we made the hard decision to remove him from the flock. He’s been gone a few weeks now and this is how my girls are looking. I’m very worried. My hubby says I’m just overreacting, but I don’t think I am! I’ve sprayed them with antibiotic spray for chickens, used anti-pick lotion, used bag balm, used chicken saddles, and I just switched them to a higher protein diet. They’re only a year old. As of literally 3 days ago. Am I overreacting? Am I not doing something right? Please help!

I forgot to put in that i currently have 3 broad rock hens and my goose (he’s our guard goose) in the flock. Our goose has never ever done a thing to harm my ladies and I have noticed that my broad rocks definitely intimidate my reds but really only when it comes to food…. I really haven’t seen my reds get bullied by the broad rocks at all.
