Hen freaking out...1st time wearing saddle/apron

My favorite EE hen is bare backed from my other 3 hens plucking out her feathers. (No roosters)
Just put the saddle on her & shes freaking out pulling on it trying to get it off.
Should I let her be, let her get use to it? Or am I doing more harm stressing her out & leaving it on?
The other 3 checked her out & are now ignoring her.

Leave it on her and if she does get out of it then put it back on so she can get used to it. She is freaked out because it is something new and it's got ahold of her. When she realizes that it is nothing bad she will calm down. If you ever have to do something like this again try to put it on in the dark and put her on the roost. They are prey animals so when there is no light they try to stay quiet and still giving them more time to get used to it.

Yeah she got it off twice...
just put it on her again (it's now dark) & put her back on the root. ..guess ill just have to wait till morning & see. .
