Hen Getting Aggressively Singled Out

Agreed, an Omlet Pro is WAY too small for six standard sized chickens. Now that they're all approaching adult size and laying age (if they aren't already) they're getting on each others' nerves. Think of 7 kids packed into the back of a station wagon on a long car trip back in the 60's.

"Mom, he's LOOKING at me again!"
Rule of thumb. 4 square feet per bird.

For harsh climates. Yes. If your chickens can go outside from sunrise till sunset they only need roost space. About 1ft each and 1ft apart. Depending on the size and temperament of your chickens. Small bantams only need ½ ft x ½ ft roost space. Count for another ½ - 1ft extra space from any walls.

If your chickens fight or make a fuss at roost time, think about compartments or add another coop so all chickens can find a place to roost without stress.
