Chirping
I have 3 Rhode Island red's and 2 Easter eggers. 2 reds are laying and 1 ee. I went out this morning to check on the girls. And it looks like the 3rd red might lay an egg. Her feathers by her vent are all pushed open and she's "pulsing" and haven't seen her poop. I've been watching her all morning. She's just kind of walking around slowly.
It's been a couple hours, should I be worried that she hasn't laid an egg yet? Is it normal for the first egg to take some time to be laid?
