Hen has a split/cracked beak

Hi. One of our hens has a split beak. She is eating well. What should we do.

Aww poor thing. I don't see any blood. Can you look closely and tell if there's blood? If not, you can carefully trim the beak and file it smoother so she doesn't get it caught on anything and tear it more.

If you have dog nail clippers, those work well. If not, nail clippers. Just be careful you don't hit the blood vessel running through the beak. Thankfully, it looks like it's obvious where the blood supply is in this beak.
