Hen has appeared with red spots!?

Not an Australorp. They have dark grey legs with pinkish undersides to their feet. Maybe a mix with Aussie, but I don't know.

I have a Buff Orpington cockerel that has those pinkish lines down his legs. He got those at about 4 months when his male hormones started surging. I call them his racing stripes.

Hello! How is everyone,? Ive noticed one of my hens of 5 months has appeared with this on her leg .Should I be concerned? Should I remover her from the coop?View attachment 2553981

Really, don't worry. this is good, natural colors, and it shows that your chicken is growing healthily.

My buff orpingtons got those right before they started laying, somebody told me it was just because of hormones. Nothin to worry about

I do not, I will post one tomorrow when there is light out. But I do have pictures when they were little would that help?

Top one is a Red Sexlink, and bottom one is a Black Langshan. The red stripes are caused by hormones.
