Hen has infection--gray flesh and maggots are eating rotten flesh

You can get some squirt'em at the feed store for the maggots. I used to get KRS but we got something else this time. It will say something about screwworm infestation on the label. It comes in a spray can. Squirt it on and the maggots are gone. Then I would clean the wound and put on an antibiotic. Furasone, powdered terramycin are two that come to mind. You can put peroxide on the wound to get rid of the pus and debris. But I would kill the maggots first and then go from there.
