i noticed that one of my hens was just sitting by herself sleeping a lot, so last friday i picked her up and realised she was really skinny i took her back to my house and let her eat as much food as she wanted whist she was eating i checked her over and found that her vent was tiney like half if not more than half its normal size it also had scabs on it and then i saw lots of black moving dots, mites, so we got ivermectin and put some on her back and we sprayed a mite spray on her vent and under her wings, then i set up a cage in our carport for her, with a heat lamp, (this was the evining of last friday the 20th)
she has ablib layers pellets and mealworms as a treat i also have given her a big handfull of grass (I had a long shower after that)
on saturday we treated her flock and her coop
this morning i went out to check on her and i picked her up to get a good look of her, her crop was empty which was a surprise but their were no mites (at least she was not covered in them)
she has her second does of ivermectin today
i wanted to know if their were any treats i could give her to stimulate her appetite
or anything else i could do for her

she is a brahma hen and she turned 1 this year she has been laying since last autum

thanks

I forgot to say I am also feeding her growers pellets to try to get some more weight on her

I was concerned because I put some meal worms in my hand and she didn't care, which is very unusual behaviour as they always go nuts for the worms she has had some in her cage but still it is weird

Scrambled egg will sometimes get them to eat. You can mix the growers pellets with a little water to make a mash, sometimes that helps and they like it that way. I would not feed grass, it's hard to digest and too much can cause blockages. You can try some vitamins which may help. Poultry nutri drench can be used for up to 3 days and may help appetite. Longer than 3 days can cause diarrhea. Poultry cell also has vitamins and iron which will help with anemia, which mites can cause. You can also try some cooked liver, if she will eat that.

I checked on her last night and her crop was still empty
I gave her a tomato and she had eaten the hole thing
I will remove the grass
Thanks

Another one of my hens (caremel) (the one that was already in is dandelion) was just sitting by herself and was quite skinny too, I took her back and put her with her sister, she was wearing a saddle so I took her saddle of and put her in, when I came back (she was due an ivermectin) their were loads of feathers on the floor (she is molting at the moment and i think the mites have damaged her) and she had lots of dandruff on her

Dandelion (the first hen) is still not that interested in food, I was hoping that her sister would incourage her but she didn't seem any more interested

Here are some pictures of their set up
Before caremel came in, dandelion by herself
Dandelions vent area is quite mucky

And with caremel (caremelis the one at the back) lots of feathers on the floor

The 'dandruff' is likely feather shaft dust, but I would check her for mites as well. If you can get them eating something higher in protein, that would be better.
I have treated all my chickens for mites
Higher protein like growers pellets or something else?
Can they have wet cat food to help with the anemia or wet dog food (or dry i have both)

Some use wet cat food, if they will eat it. Scrambled eggs, canned tuna. I find with mine scrambled eggs are favored. If I have one sick or struggling with a difficult molt I will give them a scrambled egg once a day, and regular feed the rest of the day. If you can find some Poultry Cell vitamins, those contain iron, which can help with anemia. If they will eat it, some cooked liver can help also.
