I have a hen that started limping two days ago but she was still getting around eating and drinking. Today she didn't want to come out of the coop with the other chickens at first. She has been out of the coop for a while now and it is nice and sunny her in SE PA. She hasn't moved from her spot in run for a few hours, so I put some water in front of her and she drank a good amount, but I am not sure she is eating. She laid an egg right were she was on the ground. She also has a clear watery stool. Anything we can do to help her?

How old is she, and was she vaccinated for anything? Does she hold the bad leg up, or does she try to put weight on it, or drag it? Can you try to get her eating some wet chicken feed and a little scrambled egg bits? Pictures of droppings could be helpful. A video of her walking, uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo with a link posted here woeld be helpful.

She is about a year old. She hasn't had any vaccinations either. Today she seems more alert and she is putting weight on the leg. I will try some wet chicken food and scrambled eggs today to see if she will eat that.
