I have one coop with a rooster and a hen, she has laid about 12 eggs, and it does not seem that she sits on them very much its been about 12 days, how do I now if she will hatch them herself or should I just take them out? They are all but one in a nest that she made of hay in the coop. please any input would be great.

Rooster and hen make fertile eggs (maybe)

There’s nothing to force the hen to go broody. If you’re trying to force it, I would put 5-6 fake eggs down and take the actual eggs from them. If she goes broody, take however many eggs she can keep warm and place them under her. Track what eggs you take by writing dates on them. Place 5-10day old eggs under her if she goes broody. Store hopeful hatching eggs on the counter.
