Hen having trouble swallowing

At least I think thats whats wrong with her. She looks fine otherwise, but when she was eating her grains this morning she looked like she was having a hard time getting the food down. what could be causing this?

Feel her crop (its a storage pouch for food located on the right side of the chest) in the morning, preferably before she's eaten. If its hard, then she has impacted crop. In that case, treat by giving her olive oil and massaging the crop.

But I think that it is more likely that nothing is wrong--sometimes, for no particular reason, chickens have to swallow hard to get food down. Its most common, though, when they're eating dry foods or eating too fast (like when they're trying to bolt a treat down before another chicken gets it).
