hen having trouble walking

A couple of weeks ago one of my hens was just sitting around unable to walk. I had thought she had sprained her legs. She's better now. But yesterday, I found another hen doing the same thing. I've isolated her. I'm wondering if it is a virus. Anyone know what this could be and what I should do?

I have been feeding layers feed and scratch. I'm thinking too much scratch and not enough protein after reading what people say here about feed.
The hen is eating and drinking. I had her sitting in a sink of warm water yesterday.She is pooping but not much. She looks like she is trying to poop or lay.

you may want to try and boost their vitamin intake, if the lameness is due to a vitamin deficiency. make sure she is not egg bound too, if so the warm baths will help

how old is your hen and has she been laying up until now?
