It has a very light blue tint, hardly noticeable. The prices here in Canada were $18 per sheet of 26"x8'. It is apparently UV protected, so it won't break down under the suns rays, like some plastics.
A hint for those who may use this product. You need to drill holes for the sealing screws, that are of a diameter slightly larger than the screw. This is to allow for contraction, and expansion with tempreture changes, to prevent it cracking. The screws have a special rubber washer that makes the holes water tight when they are tightened. There are nails that can be bought with a similar washer. I just like the screws so I can adjust, or remove things as I build them. I bought 40 screws for about .15 each, but really only needed to us around thirty.
If anybody needs further info on the construction, ask away!

As an aside, I was having problems with the birds volunteering to go out into the run by themselves. I decided to "help" a couple of them out throught the chicken door so they could get the idea. Soon enough they were all outside. One then decided after about a 1/2 hour to head back into the hen house, sure enough they all followed that one in. I was really pleased to see them out again in the run later in the day, this time without any help from me.
They are my first chickens, and they sure are funny in thier behaviors. Lots of fun to watch.
