Hi, I have a hyline hen who was all fluffed up and crouched down in her coop so i took her in and felt her underside i could feel a egg shaped lump but far over on her right side. I gave her calcium and bathed her, and used oil to lubricate her. I have done this every day for 5 days, she is indoors in a box so she doesn't get cold. she is very tired and cannot stand up. i felt under her again today and the lump is gone. when i bathed her the water went bright yellow, i mean really yellow. the bath was quite big so whatever it was there was a lot of it. Could it be something else like an abscess rather than egg bound? i can't feel anything now. She is pooping ok, not much considering she wasn't eating or drinking. but she has started to eat and drink the last 2 days and sometimes i think she has perked up. she is still not able to stand and just collapses in a puffed up ball when i try her on her feet. I don't know what else to do. any ideas please?
