Hen in one box, egg in the other

Gracie started laying about 3 weeks ago. Today is the third time I’ve seen her in one nesting box but found the egg in a different one. Any ideas about what’s going on?

Then its probably one of their spots. She might not be laying yet, just checking out the nest boxes.

Well, hopefully it's just a little idiosyncrasy.
As long as she's eating/drinking/pooping/moving around OK, I'd not worry.
