I have a 7month old Easter Egger hen she has been laying eggs, my rooster likes her alot and about a week ago i noticed a deep cut under her wing from mating he hasn't got his spurs in all the way, so it was his claws, but i have filed them down to where they are not sharp, so he won't hurt the other girls. so, i brought her inside and cared for her wound. she is eating and drinking but i can tell she misses her chicken family outside the wound does have a scab, no infection, i have been cleaning it 2 times a day, and for the past couple of days i have put gauze on it and kind of wrapped it up so she doesn't pick at it i also put a hen saddle on her. so the other chickens wont mess with it, i do to take her outside with the other chickens but she is not around the rooster where she is still healing. my question is when can she be outside all the time. Thank You
