The hen in question is roughly three years old. She has been acting lethargic as of late and is not walking or moving at all, except her head to drink. If you pick her up and move her she does not protest, and simply sinks back down upon being set down. It appears that she may not be able to stand, though her legs do not appear to be injured, and there are no visible wounds anywhere. A while back she suffered a raccoon attack (several months ago) but had since recovered. Any ideas as to what may be wrong would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry to hear that. It's weird that there weren't any replies to try and help you out. But I doubt you could have easily gotten rid of the worms in two days if they already made her act that way. Loosing a chicken sucks!
Maybe you should de-worm the rest of your flock to be safe! I don't know a lot about worms but if one had them the others might too.
Good luck

was there any other signs? My hen seems to be the same way now but did Wazine 17 3 days ago. She will not eat but drinks water. Been trying to get help on what to do next.

Help! I have a 1 yr old maran that's acting strange she keeps ruffling her feathers, then her tail feathers will just droop down. She's eating and drinking but not like she should. She attacks my Peking duck every time it gets close to her. The other hens are ok. I have 2 others marans that are broody and are on eggs getting ready to hatch anytime. She wanted to nest too and I kept making her stay off eggs. And also I have a 3 day old bantam chick that it's mother and other chicks kept attacking until it was all bloody on the head I took it out now I have a chick that's better but I don't think it will make it alone? I'm caring for it and it's eating and drinking but constant cherping, any advice will be appreciated

Are you sure she has been able to lay eggs lately? Maybe she is backed up. I never keep my chickens from wanting to sit on eggs. In fact, sometimes three chickens were sitting on the same clutch of eggs up to a couple of hours at a time. They always worked it out how they saw fit. Just don't keep her from the nests. She may feel the need to lay an egg only on the nest. I hope she will be alright.
