I think the stress and the shock of nearly being someone's lunch would be just cause for not laying and for sticking in the coop, honestly.

Updated: Christina is still limping a bit, but she is moving much faster, and is now able to go up and down the ramp herself. She is laying. (she might be a little on the broody side. she stays on the nest tending the eggs- including the golfball- for a long time)

I think her self prescribed sabbatical helped.

I still wish my hubby would have let me bring her into the garage for a couple days. She needed the TLC after that scare.

She should not be going up and down ramps. Sorry for being harsh but please don't ask for advice on what to do if your not going to take it.
