Hey! It is a first time that i have mom hen and 9 chicks. Mom is moulting lightly currently. And chicks are 17 days old.
Now that they have feathers mom began to pluck them
Expecially the tail and some on the back.
But she actally takes care of them.
I wonder should i seperate them. Only with mesh wire or sould i raise chicks seperately. I dont want them to miss mum too much... they cry if she is not nearby.
I will also send pictures.
