Hen is sick, fluffed up and can't stand up

I honestly can't remember when she laid an egg,it was before she molted.I assumed she stopped when she molted and wouldn't start again
until spring.
There is no purple in her comb, just my camera. She is a little paler now than when I took the pic.
Going to work on getting her some protien.
She has been drinking a little today, not as good as yesterday.

She has been eating fine up until the last couple days.
I did give her 1/4 of a penicillin pill.
She is still only eating seeds, other than what I can actually force feed her.I have offered her
everything she loves to eat and she picks the little brown seeds.I'm going to pick up some
yogurt, cat food, and meal worms if I can find them.
She is drinking very little.

What sorts of things was she eating before she stopped? Was she eating lay crumble/pellets or just scratch? There is a problem that chickens get called cage-layer-fatigue. You can read about it here:

I have never seen it in a hen, and I don't know enough about it to give any advice on it. Just looking for reasons that your hen would just sit down and stop eating/drinking.

My girls usually eat knockout, its a scratch with a higher protein content than regular scratch, bugs, they free range on 3 acres, scraps
and I'm always giving them scrambled eggs and whole grain rice.I also bake and crush up egg shells for them.I have never been able to get them to
eat much layer.
I couldn't get the first link to work but I did the second.Maybe there could be some sort of calcium deficiency. When she did lay her shells
were never thin though.
I really can't say how long she has been sick.I was on vacation for 6 days came home and noticed she was sick as soon as she came out of the coop.My husband said she was just
kind of standing around Saturday.
Someone said it could be something genetic,I got her and her sisters 4 years ago in March and they have all been healthy until now

I don't honestly know the correct answer but, I would go with 1/4 tab twice daily for 7 - 10 days.

Have you read any threads on EYP? I really think you need to read a few and decide if your hen may be suffering from this disease.

Sorry its taken so long to get back on.Our hen died this morning.I would like to thank everyone
for their great advice.
