Hen is sick, messy vent, I don’t know what this is

My Barred Rock, Moonshine, developed a really messy vent a few days ago. It smells wrong, and is green in some spots. She’s been squatting/waddling, but I don’t think she is egg-bound. She has not lost much weight that I can tell so far, and is still interested in their kitchen scraps.
I use permethrin to keep any mites down, and usually put cayenne or garlic powder in their food (standard layer feed) for internal parasites. When I refilled their water almost 2 weeks ago I added Nutridrench according to the bottle’s instructions to give their systems a boost, since they hadn’t laid since the October/November molt (they are laying normally now).
That is the only recent change to their living space; all her sisters are healthy.
I had one hen who had similiar systems a couple years ago, and I tried the standard ‘sick hen’ treatments, but nothing worked and she died.
It didn’t seem contagious though, and I haven’t quarantined Moonshine yet because I don’t want her to get depressed, which I have had happen. Does anyone recognize this? I can post pictures in a little while.

From what I can tell it is vent gleet, which somehow I only heard of quite recently? So I will quarantine her, and try to wash her vent very frequently. I still don’t know what caused this but hopefully I can get her back into shape. Are there any particular probiotics good for hens?

Vent gleet isn't contagious.really, so no need to isolate. Cleaning is important, and you may want to trim the feathers around her vent. It's a fungal infection, easily treatable (though it takes a while).

You can feed plain yogurt for active cultures, but you need to treat the fungus with antifungal cream. I've given it both orally and directly to the vent 2x a day for at least a week. You may want to read more about it, though. It's been a while since I've had a hen with gleet. I could be forgetting how I treated it.

It's often brought on by stress, from what I've read.
