I've searched and concluded that this hen may be egg bound, and I've begun treatment for that, but just wanted to show a photo in case the community here thinks it's something different!
Context: rescued this hen and 8 others from a poorly maintained "coop". Lots of mud/poop on the ground, not much space, super dirty... I'm thinking they may all have been malnourished because some had broken beaks etc.. I brought them to their new home and noticed this one standing strangely. Whey eats and poops fine, but seems a little fatigued and a bit of a loner. Sits down a lot. She will run like normal, if you spook her, but when at rest, she stands like this.
