A.M. Eggs
Songster
So I have a Buff Orpington named Blossom who was acting weird. She was kind of tired looking and she wasn’t eating the scratch. My first thought was: “oh no! Not my baby! Please don’t be sick!!!” Then I watched as she moved into the egg-laying position. Then I thought: “oh, what a relief!” But now, after spending about 5 minutes punching the egg out, she is still acting tired and has not yet returned to normal. Should I be worried or she just tired from having to push the egg out so hard? If it’s pushing the egg, how long until she will be back to normal? And should I try to force her to eat more calcium? I just started to let them into a grassy area and she may not have eaten enough. Thank you for your responses!
