I Have 12 laying hens. Isabrowns. I have one hen that for the last three days has stayed in the coop when she goes out she gets bullied by all of the hens she’s not sick she looks good she’s laying eggs she’s eating do you guys think maybe the pecking order changed? I need some help I’m worried about her. This morning she ran in runner and when any other hen got close she ran back inside. Three days the others were bullying her and she actually flew on me and tried to fly out coop. Help I need suggestions or is this just pecking order stuff?

Poor baby..... It could be an overcrowded issue. Do you have any pix of your coop and run? Is there plenty of areas in the run to hide or get away from the more aggressive hens? Was she raised with the same flock or newly introduced?

No they have plenty of room and there is plenty of space. Yes she has many places to go to get away from them. She was raised with them. They are all from the same flock. They are 14 months old all of them.

Welcome! What are the actual dimensions of your coop and run? Just wondering...
There's something going on, and you need to figure it out. Look at all your birds at night when they are roosting, with a flashlight. Peer under their feathers and around their vents, looking for any mites of lice.
Is her comb getting pale?
Belly full and hard?
Are you sure she's actually laying eggs?
Maybe it's a social issue that will work itself out, but at least look for obvious things.
Diet; pellets, crumble, or mixed grains?

When they roost 2 of the hens roost with her. Lol no her comb is bright red not pale her belly is not full and hard and I watch her lay an egg yesterday afternoon in the roosting boxes. I will check for mites tonight. I’ll post a picture of the coop and runner not sure of dimensions
