She was just being normal and she looked fine and than just decided to lay down.

She perches alone on the branch in the run a lot. She’s acting fine otherwise and she’s eating and drinking. She’s near the top of the pecking order. I checked her behind and she’s fine back there.
 
Sometimes they just want to sit down. No real cause for concern unless she has other symptoms such as discharge of the nose or eyes, lethargic, not eating an drinking, paralysis, etc.
 
As a knee jerk reaction, she might just be resting or prepping for a dust bath.

If observed long enough, she will likely attract others to join her, which will turn into a resting pile or a thrashing pile of dust bathing chickens. Not gonna lie, the dust bathing is a bit offputting the first time you see it.

Usually mine start digging and than throw themselves in the hole they made. 😂This was new to me so thank you.
