Hen killing chicks after hatching

Hi!

I am new and have never had chicken before. I have two hens and two rosters. The hens are laying eggs and one of them is a responsible mother incubating Hera and the other one. Yesterday eggs started hatching and only one is alive, the other was peck by one of the hens. A new one hatched today and he did the same. We took chick and separated it. Could he be the health of chick is not good? Or is she rejecting the chicks of the other hen?

I would separate the hen and chicks. Keep one hen and her chicks separated from any other birds. Make a makeshift "broody coop" for both of your hens. Does only one hen have chicks, or do they both have them? She would not reject them because of health usually. I'm guessing the one hen is bothering her.
