Hen killing rooster

I recently got 2 dominique hens and she is trying to kill my silkie rooster! Has anyone heard of this and what can I do? She has ripped his comb open twice.

Is the rooster younger or older than the hens? If younger then the hens are probably higher in the pecking order and more likely to pick on the rooster.

Hens will never take a rooster seriously until he is a "man" anyway. (if he is young)
