Hen laid two shell-less eggs connected by string

From a Swedish Facebook group today.

Apparantly the hen in question is a cross between Marans and Ölandshöna. Yesterday she laid an ordinary egg, the day before that she laid a shell-less egg, and today she laid this:

She doesn't smell bad, but is sticky around her butt.

I've never seen anything like it!
 
More than likely she's a young layer. There can be glitches as the system regulates. The photo shows probably what is the result of multiple yolks being released close together. They probably bumped up next to each other and an attachment was formed. They are probably both shell-less and passed as one.
