Hen layed 2 eggs (hard and soft) after winter egglaying break

Last night she was just slower. She was standing still trying to poop but nothing would come out. Usally she eats before bed but she refused this time. After a while I realized she might need to lay an egg so I put her in the box. This morning I found two eggs with her. A soft egg and a hard egg. (Soft egg is on the left of the picture) and the other picture is her behind with this clear slime stuff that I saw but it might have to do with her trying to lay an egg.
Was this just like a glitch type thing. After not laying all winter she lays a soft egg?

Yes. Start up glitch.
The soft eggs can be hard to get out with no hard surface for the contractions to push against.
