Well, either there is something wacky up with my EE Samantha, or I have a miracle hen on my hands. My EE Samantha has layed 3 eggs in 24 hrs. I don't know how it's possible. I went up to the coop this morning, and found a shell-less egg beneath the roosting pole. This is the 6th or 7th time I've found one of these when I open the coop in the morning. Now, I go up there tonight, and find two green eggs behind the coop door. There were zero eggs there last night.

And yes, I am sure it is her. I have only one green-egg laying bird, and that's Sammy. And I know it wasn't just some other hen who I thought was a white-/brown-egg layer who is actually an EE, because Sam and my Buff Orp Sunny (who has consistently layed brown eggs for 4 months) are the only hens I have that are old enough to lay. So... does anyone know why this would happen and should I be concerned?

P.S. This is the first time I have gotten 3 eggs in one day, but last month she did also lay 2 normal ones in the same day, but there were no shell-less ones.

My BSL has been laying multiple eggs. 2 days in a row, she laid one normal egg, followed by a shell-less egg (2 eggs each day). She was clearly distressed when laying the shell-less eggs, so I hope she settles down into a state of normal. Also, her eggs are large, she's been laying for about 2 weeks, and a lot of them are dbl. yolkers.

I'm pretty sure when hens start to lay again after a long break or when pullets just begin to lay they sometimes take a while to get 'regular'. Twice I broke my EE from being broody and both times when she started laying again she would lay two eggs one day, wait a couple days, then lay another two. After about a week she started doing things normal.
