Hen layer a deformed white mass

Extremely worried my hen hasn't laid for 2 weeks and today she laid a horrible deformed mass. It was white and lumpy and when I cut it open it looked like meat. Only way to describe it is it looked like cutting into a cooked piece of chicken breast. Help !!!!

Good morning, it sounds like a lash egg, if you use that term in your search box you'll be able to

I agree, sounds like a lash egg. Look up Salpingitis in chickens.

It does sound like you have a hen that has Salpingitis and has laid a lash egg.

This is an inflammation of the oviduct. As suggested, searching here on BYC and the web will give you lots of information.
