Hen laying in poop board

I got my fist chickens last week only two are laying but one is laying on the poop board
Any suggestions to make her lay in the nest box

Some of mine lay there too.

I don't care though, as long as I keep the poop tray clean the eggs are clean too.


You can try to make the nest boxes more attractive by making them a bit darker and adding a fake egg.

I've had it happen too.
Ditto on the fake eggs in the nests....or just give her time, she's in a new place.
