Also how can I be sure they ate fertile he has been on all of them.
That is a contentious topic! There is not really any full proof way of knowing if a newly laid egg is fertile or not without cracking them or incubating it. Candling an egg (the process of shining light through an egg to look for any signs of life) will not work on newly laid eggs, although it avoids having to crack them, only works after the egg is about 6 or 7 days old.

She's been off for probably an hour now its also just rained a good bit so there all outside in the fenced in area its been so hot here and they have no shade but the coup so I know their enjoying the coolness
The hotter the temperature, the more time the broody will stay off the eggs, because they will stay warm enough without her constant presence. However, it is a bit of an unknown when your hen is a first timer because you are never sure if she is just using her instincts very well or loosing her broodiness! Only time will tell on that one, I'm afraid.

Is there enough shade and ventilation for her and the eggs?
