Hen laying on her egg

No incubation, just a hen laying on her egg. How long does it take for her to have a newborn, and when its born what do I have to do, to take care of the baby chick.

21 days is the said incubation period. yours might be early or late it just depends on the temperature i believe. most people try and leave their chicks with their brood especially if it is just one since it will get lonely if you take it away and put it in a brooder
