Hen laying shell-less egg

I would try offering more calcium and make sure this hen has access to layer crumbles. I would also feed back some of the other hens egg shells to her for the calcium. This should help with the problem.

Years ago I had this problem when the chicken feed didn't contain the calcium I thought it did. Feeding eggshells will help, but supplying crushed oyster shell will give them a fast fix as well. After the oyster shell, we got a few eggs with odd calcium deposits in various places for a week or two until the hens stabilized the amount of calcium in their system. I then offered crushed oyster shell to them as well as grit.

I daily provide egg shells to my girls.
Sometimes I provide calcium supplement to them.
