You should probably make your own thread for this.

Also, by the look of its comb, wattles, and tail, it is for sure a cock.

Yall i am freaking out what in the world is up with these eggs! Egg in the middle of these 2 for size
Need something in the pic for size that everyone recognizes,
like a quarter or a dollar bill or a ruler/tape measure.
Also age of bird laying the 'too big' eggs.

They will be a year old march 25th they are black sexlink pullets one of them had some blood on it thats what scared me

Are they double yolkers?
A little blood on the outside happens once in awhile......unless is a lot of blood or happens frequently, I'd now worry about it.

I candeled them one of them does seem to have 2 yolks the other one i only seen 1 in it im just amazed that such small chickens can have such big eggs lol and its wasn't much blood on the egg it was just a little smear down the side. Thank yall for the information i feel better about them now!

These hens need a balanced diet and oyster shell on the side. Messing with that basic balanced diet will only make thing worse! Modern laying hens are genetically programmed to lay lots of eggs, and live short, and so reproductive issues will not be rare as birds get older. 'Older' can mean one year of age! A much loved pet hen could possibly have a hysterectomy, although it would be difficult to find an avian vet who could do it, and $$$. I'd keep her well fed, parasite free, and happy, and see how she does. Very large eggs happen, and it's often just fine. Mary
