Hello and Welcome To BYC! Showgirls/Silkies are really slow to mature... you are sure she is a she? You might try taking a video of her and the "funny" walk and posting it in the Emergencies forum see if anyone has ideas on what might be wrong.

You may want to post on the "Showgirl" thread or "Silkie thread," to see what more experienced people think. I would imagine if she were an oops rooster, she would have crowed by now. I don't know how late they are to start laying but, they are not considered reliable layers.
