Hen lies down all the time

Hi guys, wonder if you have any ideas about what might be wrong with my sussex.

She is bright, eating, laying and her feet and legs look fine.

She has taken to lying down quite a bit. You'll see her out and about then lies down, looking about and interested. Then she'll be up and about for another short time.

I'm new to chicken keeping so would welcome any ideas.

If she's eating, drinking, and alert, I wouldn't worry!

Mine loved to lie in the sun, but they looked like they were getting cooked. Now they've gotten enough sense to not lie directly in the sun. Only lasted a few weeks. Give it time, just as long as she is eating and drinking.

Thanks guys, I'll just let her get on with it then. I only have 4 but can now understand how people get so addicted
