I put a chunk of 4x4 into my broody breaker so the birds can perch and don't have to sit in poop. You might try that if you've got a scrap piece that would fit.

I was gonna ask that. I have the little roosts that I used for them when they were chicks. Would that work too? I wonder if I could put her back in the coop tonight if I put one the little roosts in there for her?

I think that a wide roost would be best is she needs to spread her weight.

I do have some left over 4x4 around. I have used masonry stones too. Which I don't know why I did think of that when I started to mover her this morning she hopped up on the bricks I propped her water up on.

Shes still limping. Toe is still curled under. I'm gonna wrap it in a bit. She's currently taking an Epsom salt bath. Lol spa day. I must have weird chicken....she's just sitting in the warm water. She hasn't tried to get away. Lol weirdo.

I know you can give B complex for vitamin deficiencies, maybe it could work for her?

I almost picked them up last night. I can't run out tonight but I'll stop and get them on the way home from work.

Be very careful about using vitamins and supplements unless they're designed for poultry and come with dosing instructions.

Too much of a good thing is often toxic.
