I noticed one of our hens favoring her leg and limping two days ago. She can get around, but is slow. She holds her leg up and toes curled as much as possible. I checked for anything obviously wrong with her, but nothing strange. She has full use of her leg and toes and is eating and roosting normal. I inspected her further this morning and I notice that her leg is also pretty warm compared to the other leg. Could this be from an infection? I can separate her, but haven't yet because she is our loud one and I'm sure she will be very noisy cooped up. Should I be giving her anything for pain or something for a possible infection?

none. and I checked her foot for possible bumble foot, but it all looks normal. We have had some icy mornings, so I was thinking she might have slipped crossing the icy deck, but the leg being warm concerns me.
