Hen Losing Weight & Pale Comb? LOADED WITH PICS

Then it's probably the stress of everything, hopefully she will perk up, not much more you can do. Chickens don't do well with stress, getting her used to the coop is good, maybe introducing her to one of your lower ranking females might help get things started, sometimes a one on one works better, than the whole flock, it's going to take a while though. She probably won't want to lay until she feels safe and at home.

You might pull another bird from your flock, and put her next to this one, let them get used to each other, make a friend. It is very difficult to introduce a single bird, it is better to introduce a pair.

After a few hours out in the coop (a half hour of it she was with one of my more docile girls supervised) she seems to be getting better. I just went and got her and put her back in the garage and her comb is pinking up again! Yay!! She'll definatley be going back out into the coop tomorrow during the day until I can move her into another cage out there.
