My two year old Naked Neck hen lost her three week old chick 5 days ago to a bobcat. She has now started pecking on the other hens if they get near her. I bought a wire cage to put her in. However, I am not sure what else to do or how long to keep her in it with food and water of course. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

I suggest this hen just needs a friend. It worked wonders for my hen when she got pecked in the eye.

I personally would take her out of the cage and leave her with her flock, so she can get back to normal as soon as possible.

Remember, time heals all wounds.

Broodies are usually pretty aggressive with the rest of the flock anyway.
Separating her may only lead to more trouble trying to reintroduce her later,
maybe a short time out, then put her back and let them all work it out.
As long as no serious blood is drawn and no one is getting pinned down and beaten, let it go.
Lots of space, places to hide 'out of line of sight' and/or up and away from aggressors all help alleviate the stress.
