hen moved to new home, when can I expect her to resume laying?

A friend gave me a 1 yo golden comet hen that she had since she was starting a new flock of chicks. I know she laid an egg the day we picked her up (Wed.) but she hasn't laid since.

Any ideas how long before she'll resume laying? She seems content, wandering around with the other chicks/cockerels. I don't have her on layer feed since I don't want the babies to have the extra calcium. I do have some supplemental calcium but I'm not sure how to give it to only her. Suggestions?

I rehomed a GLW and it took just over 3 weeks for her to start laying.

Well, "Sally" answered my question. We found an egg in their run! Yay! Let's hope she keeps this up, but figures out where she's supposed to be laying them.
