Hen not eating or drinking

She seems to be acting normal today but I have a feeling she has been laying soft eggs in the coop at night. Someone had a soft shell in their mouth this morning and the coop sand is pretty clumpy from something wet. Guess ill do two more days of tums with her. Been keeping the feeder with shells full. 6 of the 7 laid solid normal eggs yesterday so I think this hen is the one having issues. Any other recommendations I should try?

Ok so she seems back to normal behavior-wise as in back to staying with the group, eating, drinking, foraging, etc, but I still think she is laying soft eggs overnight in the coop. We have been getting 6 eggs most days and have 7 hens. this morning i found albumin in the sand of the coop which I assume is her laying soft eggs.

I have given them Recover 911 for 3 days and specifically have given her a tums for 3 days in a row crushed up with some egg yolk, don’t have any vit d on hand. Could it just be the heat? Anything else I should try?

It could very well be the heat. Keep giving her the tums just in case it is a calcium issue.
