Hen not eating since Suprelorin implant

Hi @Kneedles ! How is your girl doing?

She's still alive and is still eating. She was supposed to see the vet on Wednesday, but the appointment got cancelled because of the lockdown. I don't know whether any vets are still open near where I live, but the hen doesn't appear to be unwell for the time being. Hopefully my fish mox will be enough if she does get sick again.

If she's eating, and looks fine, I would not worry about taking her to the vet.

All, I'm dealing with this issue right now. My silkie, Tina, had the implant at the vet. We are trying to deal with a lash egg. I am also doing injectable antibiotics (Zosyn) twice per day for 7 days.

You've got to tube feed your chickens. Syringe feeding won't be enough and tube feeding is safer because you'll bypass the airway. I'm tube feeding my 2.4 pound silkie three times per day, 20 CC of hand feed, as per vet's orders. Once you learn how to do it it should take you ten seconds. I've been feed
