Hi everyone,
New chicken keeper here. I have a 1 year old lavender orpington that has stopped eating.
Shes half the size and weight of my buff orpingon.
She was sick a couple weeks ago with respiratory issues. I got antibiotics for the water from a vet and those symptoms have stopped. She also had worms in her stool so I got a dewormer from my local feed store. I dont see anymore worms but she has diarrhea now. not much is in it since shes not eating. She wasnt leaving the coop much. she only go out to peck around a bit. I brought her in last night and gave her an epsom salt bath. She seemed to really enjoy it. She is still preening herself but I just cant get her to eat or drink much. I gave her a bunch of options. She`ll eat blueberries if i hold them up but thats it.
If anyone has suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated!

It's possible the worms have weakened her, and her immune system. I recommend that you give her plain boiled white rice mixed with buttermilk.
The rice will settle her innards and the buttermilk will coat intestinal lining temporarily protecting it from coccidiosis. She should scoff up the rice since it looks like maggots.
You can add it to her feed if you wish and hopefully she'll come around and make improvement. What wormer did you use for the worms?
