Hen not laying

I have a buff orpington hen that will be 7 months and the end of the month and she hasn't laid an egg, or at least didn't lay an egg in the coop, they free range a lot so I don't know if she's laying them somewhere in the yard or just haven't laid one yet. Thanks

I'd give it a little more time. Some lay earlier than others, some lay later than others. Anywhere from 6-9 months is the general "window". Looking around the yard won't be a bad idea. Most pullet's first eggs aren't in the boxes anyway.
