Hen not molting

I was just wondering why my hen has not started molting. She was born March 2017 and this should be her first time molting

If she doesnt start by the end of the month i dont think she will. Shes missing alot of butt feathers and i can see her skin and and her feathers arent as soft so im hoping she does.

She might be in molt now if she is missing feathers. She's may just be a light molt this year

Not all birds molt 'hard' and fast....some go soft and slow.
It can be hard to tell, look closely for pin feathers emerging.
Handle bird carefully tho, those pin feathers are 'uncomfortable',
and if broken can bleed copiously(why they are also called 'blood feathers').
